Adversity is a hard pill to swallow expecially if it last for years without any sign of relief in sight. What to do with adversity? We are born into adversity as the sparks fly upward. So the Bible tells us we are going to go through a lot of bad ties in our life time. How are we going to react when tough times come.?
Do we give up and kill ourselves and never fulfill the plan God has for our life? Are we going to let it get the best of us and say this is my lot in life? It will never be any better. There is no way out, I'm stuck here forever. There is an end an appointed time for trouble to end. Satan will whisper his lies and tell you it will never change.
God has placed in each heart a dream. Satan will work on you night and day to get you to give up on your dream. Fulfillling your dream will bring joy to you and glory to God. Don't say bad things will always happen to me. I can't win, others can I can't. God wants the best for you.
Joseph learned how to handle adversity. Sold as a slave into Potipher's house and made ruler over everything. A position that was a dream job, until it turns nightmare, when Potipher's wife desires Joseph to sleep with her. She lies on Joseph and off to jail he goes.
It took years to get Joseph to rule in Egypt. Through adversity God brought out the best and matured Joseph.
What will God do for you if you endure?
We wait for my Son to be healed. We keep looking up from whence comes our srrength. Yesterday, the doctor's talked about ICU. His blood pressure is dangerously low. He still is not eating or drinking.

Betrayal -David
David knew betrayal from a young age. He saw God and his people being ridiculed by a Philistine giant, named Goliath. David ran toward the giant with a sling shot and the power of God. Saul's worst enemy was dead. He should have been so thankful for David, but jealousy flooded into Saul's heart. He should have cried out to God to help him overcome this evil. He threw a spear at David trying to kill him. While, he was playing the harp trying to soothe Saul's depressed spirit. David had to run for his life. Saul chased him trying to kill him for years.
David had a friend that he want to church with. He ate meals with him. His special friend turned and became his enemy. Later, his beloved Son, Absalom betrayed David killing some of his brother's, turned David's friends and military men against him.
David never tried to try to get even with his enemies. He left judgment to God. He gave up his hurt to the Lord. David showed mercy. If, you have been betrayed? Forsake wrath and leave judgment to the Lord. Bless them that hurt you, and do all kind of evil against you. When you bless them God will deal with them. If you fight your own battles, God won't fight for you. He knows all about your troubles. He will deal the right punishment. If you deal judgment, you are judging and that judgment will come back on you.
Take your burden to the Lord and He will sustain you. He will not suffer the righteous to be moved.

God's Mysterious Ways
A married couple
had been separated by war. The young
lady had to flee the country. The young
man was taken prisoner. Before the lady
left, she had embroidered a most exquisite table cloth. It had been lost.
Years later in
Brooklyn got an old run down church and had worked hard to repair it. They had planned to open for services in
December. A storm came and ruined a
sectiony in front of the church. The
couple decided to cancel the church service.
While going to the church the Pastor saw a sign for a sale. He went in the store and found the most
beautifully embroidered table cloth. It
was large and it dawn on him that it looked like the size that would fit the
damaged wall. Sure enough it fit and made
the whole wall look like a masterpiece.
An older lady missed her bus and had to wait for another one. The Pastor invited her to wait in the church. She couldn’t believe her eyes, when her eyes
spotted the table cloth with her initials that she had engraved so many years
ago. The Pastor took her home.
They had a very
special service that Christmas Eve. An
older man stayed after the service with tears in his eyes he ask, where did you
get that tablecloth? It was my wife’s
. The Pastor took him to the little
house to reunite with his wife.
God’s ways are
not ours. What appears to be disasters
to us may be part of His plan. Proverbs
3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding. Man can cause delays ,but God can put it back
together in a better way.
Parts rearranged from God’s Little Acre.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord
A little desert mouse has to depend on the Lord for it's survival. It rained so little in the desert, but the little mouse didn't worry about his provision. Every night the mouse would put a leaf at the entrance of his hole in the sand. In the morning the dew fell, leaving one drop of water on the leaf. That drop was enough to keep it alive for another day.
How much more we that know God's God's Word should trust Him more?
My Son is out of the hospitol. Thanks for your prayers. We are thankful for praying people, who help when things get rough. He is very weak and still needs prayers. We praise God for His greatness. He hear our faintest whisper.
