Betrayal -David
David knew betrayal from a young age. He saw God and his people being ridiculed by a Philistine giant, named Goliath. David ran toward the giant with a sling shot and the power of God. Saul's worst enemy was dead. He should have been so thankful for David, but jealousy flooded into Saul's heart. He should have cried out to God to help him overcome this evil. He threw a spear at David trying to kill him. While, he was playing the harp trying to soothe Saul's depressed spirit. David had to run for his life. Saul chased him trying to kill him for years.
David had a friend that he want to church with. He ate meals with him. His special friend turned and became his enemy. Later, his beloved Son, Absalom betrayed David killing some of his brother's, turned David's friends and military men against him.
David never tried to try to get even with his enemies. He left judgment to God. He gave up his hurt to the Lord. David showed mercy. If, you have been betrayed? Forsake wrath and leave judgment to the Lord. Bless them that hurt you, and do all kind of evil against you. When you bless them God will deal with them. If you fight your own battles, God won't fight for you. He knows all about your troubles. He will deal the right punishment. If you deal judgment, you are judging and that judgment will come back on you.
Take your burden to the Lord and He will sustain you. He will not suffer the righteous to be moved.
